More than 800,000 people, according to figures from the Local Police, have accompanied the Virgin of Fuensanta to her Sanctuary in a Pilgrimage that many have described as "historical" for their encounter with the Virgin of the Dangers and because the itinerary has been flown over by the autogyro of Juan de la Cierva.
According to Local Police, the day has been "very quiet" and there have been "no notable incidents", as in the 15 days of Murcia Fair.
The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, wanted to congratulate "Murcia for contributing to the good development of the holidays and for participating in a massive way in the various acts and municipal services, Local Police, National Police, Protection Civil, Red Cross, Fire and emergency services for the perfect organization of all the activities and for its implication that this Fair has passed with total security and coordination.
