Felipe Coello, Councilor for Sports and Health, presented this morning together with Sergio Martínez, president of the Federation of Cycling of the Region of Murcia and the pedestrian mayor of Algezares, Juan José Garre, the XXIII climbing 'Cresta del Gallo 2017' that will be held on September 3 and is part of the programming of the Murcia Fair.

The tests of this race by bicycle will start at 9:00 am with exit at Rosaleda street, together with Algezares mayoralty, and consists of different categories such as Cyclists, Cadets, Junior and Féminas with free registrations for federates.

After this, the Master category (30-40-50-60) and finally the Elite / sub23 star category will start, which will start at 12:20 and 13:10 respectively.

Coello stated that "it is an opportunity to enjoy cycling in our mountain, in a unique environment such as Cresta del Gallo, where we expect to participate around 400 people."
