The Catholic University of San Antonio continues to increase its presence in the socio-cultural activity of the municipality of Cartagena, in this case contributing to the organization of the Patron Saint's Festivities in the neighborhood of Los Dolores, which houses its campus in Cartagena, and which are promoted by the Association of Neighbors of the area of ​​the hand of other groups.
On this occasion, everyone who passes through the neighborhood will know that this area of ​​Cartagena is partying thanks to two banners in which will be printed the UCAM logo along with the city's coat of arms.
The collaboration of the Catholic University focuses on continuing to support sports and religious activity in its social and university environment, two of its identity signs that coincide with those of these patron saint festivities.
Specifically, within the program sponsored by UCAM and promoted by the TIN Sports Club, the first 3x3 Basketball Championship to be held on September 5 from 6pm to 9pm at the Los Dolores Pavilion, where they can also be performed the inscriptions.
In addition, September 8 will be the first Foosball championship in the neighborhood of Los Dolores with three prizes for both the categories Children (up to 16 years), Senior - from 17 to 35 years old - and veterans - over 35 years old, being All free registrations.
The feasts will conclude on Sunday 17 with a wreath and a Eucharist in the morning and a procession in the afternoon, although on Sunday 10 a pilgrimage will take place with the Virgin of Los Dolores accompanied by the coPatrón de Cartagena, San Ginés de la Jara .
In this way the Catholic University of San Antonio continues to increase its collaboration with the Cartagena municipality, which this summer also became evident with the sponsorship of the Trovalia Festival taking the art of repentization to various coastal towns.
