The cartoons published by the comedian Baldomero Ferrer "Baldo" in the late regional newspaper Line have been the subject of study of the End of Grade Work (TFG) by the student of the University of Murcia (UMU) Antonio Gomariz López.
The study was carried out under the tutelage of professors Verónica de Haro and Luis Miguel Moreno, and in the same one the vignettes published between 1970 and 1982 are contemplated.
The author points out that graphic humor is dedicated to show reality from a critical point of view.
And he adds that the great political events of the Transition had their particular repercussion in these vignettes.
The conclusions of the TFG say that "in the vignettes, Baldo always portrayed the society of Murcia from its most mundane concerns: the economic crisis, the rise in the price of basic necessities, working conditions, holidays or local festivities.
