Disseminate knowledge about stem cells and therapeutic options, especially in Reconstructive Medicine, is the main objective of the course of the International University of the Sea "and therapeutic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation: Reconstructive Medicine."
The course is part of the Universidad Internacional del Mar, an agency that coordinates the summer courses at the University of Murcia and will be held at Playa Grande in Puerto de Mazarrón during the week of 12 to 16 July.
The organizers intend to provide a forum for scientific discussion with experts in cell therapy research where we can highlight the progress and challenges in this new field of medicine.
The course will analyze the different types of stem cells and their biological properties and will announce the new types of bone marrow and umbilical cord stem cells, and the results obtained with them.
The initiative will be closed on Friday July 16 with a panel discussion on "Present and future of cell therapy in Spain. Critical Analysis", which intervene José María Moraleda, Hematopoietic Transplant Coordinator.
