The proposals will be considered at the next session of the Cooperation Council.
Sierra Leone has recently suffered heavy flooding that has left more than 500 dead and 1,500 missing, according to estimates by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
A situation that makes collaboration even more necessary to help more than 5,000 people, out of a total of 1,600 families affected, particularly in Racecourse, Regent and Lumley, the most affected areas of Freetown, the capital.
All efforts now focus on preventing any outbreak and the spread of malaria due to standing waters, which offer ideal conditions for the reproduction of mosquitoes that transmit various diseases.
This disease is responsible for 20% of under-five deaths in Sierra Leone.
In addition, Sierra Leone occupies one of the last places in the list of countries according to the Human Development Index, with a life expectancy of 51 years, a mortality rate of 13.3% and a per capita income Does not reach 650 euros.
