The customers of a thousand shops in the municipality will be eligible for prizes of 200 euros during the month of September. For each purchase made in these establishments from 1 to 30 September the client will receive a scratch participation card (24/08/2017)

The Department of Commerce and Institutional Relations, directed by Maruja Pelegrín, through MUÁC (Murcia Commercial Area) will launch for the month of September a new campaign that seeks to value traditional trade and help the Murcia in this Period back to school and extraordinary expenses.

Thus, 950 shops of 14 associations of the municipality have already adhered to the initiative 'Scratch and jump' to be held from 1 to 30 September thus reaching a large number of areas of the municipality.

All the establishments in which it will be possible to participate will be identified in their showcases with the brand mark MUÁC.

Thus, for each purchase made in these shops the customer will receive a scratch participation card being able to win one of the 14 prizes of 200 euros to make purchases in the shops.

An initiative launched in collaboration with the Department of Development.

Councilwoman Maruja Pelegrín explained that "traditional trade is distinguished by its wide and exclusive offer, the quality of its products, the trust and the treatment and personalized service offered by its merchants."

Pelegrín added that "the development of the strategic plan of the commerce and its actions of the promotion of commercial communication seek to promote the associationism, the formation and the recycling of the merchants thus dynamising the commercial activity in the municipality".

To achieve this goal of dynamisation, which is the one that is most encouraged by the council, so far have been carried out two actions: collaboration with projects organized by associations (Shopping Night, spring arrival, walkways ...) and through Of direct subsidies for acts and actions of dynamization.

The novelty in 2017 is the commercial promotion promoted directly by the council as is the case of this campaign.

"It is more attractive to citizens because it encompasses more businesses and the incentives it offers," explained Pelegrín.
