Development will carry out maintenance work for the Atalayas tunnel for two weeks (21/08/2017)

The Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, will perform, from tomorrow 22 August and for approximately two weeks ordinary maintenance work in the Atalayas tunnel.

These works will consist of the cleaning and rehabilitation of the lateral channels in which the waters are collected.

The estimated duration of the action is estimated in two weeks, for which it will be necessary to close the tunnel to traffic, initially towards Av. Primero de Mayo and then towards Ronda de Levante.

Thus, the traffic cuts will occur in the schedule in which the work is carried out (from 8 to 19 hours approximately) and only in one direction of the circulation in an alternative way.
