The City of Murcia has renewed the collaboration agreement with 27 institutes of the municipality of Murcia thanks to which about 25,000 schoolchildren will be able to carry out extracurricular activities over the course of the next course.
This has been confirmed by the Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, noting that in this way "our young people receive a quality education in the institutes Murcia, thanks to the commitment of their teachers not only with their academic training, but also integral Therefore, these activities are focused as a complement that promotes social and civic values, the approach to the associations of their closest environment and as a way to channel the creative expression of young people.
The total municipal funds for the grants is 110,000 euros, 10% more than in the previous call, and each center will be able to present the chosen projects, prioritizing the activities most demanded by the students themselves, with contents on integration and tolerance, Gender equality, school violence, environmental and health education, and the proper use of social networks.
Inter-center activities will also be financed, that is to say, those carried out in collaboration with one or more centers on the above mentioned subjects, or of novel and experimental character;
As well as those carried out jointly with entities or associations of the area of ​​the institute.
Among the activities of a formative and / or informative nature that have been programmed include:

To this is added a complete offer of workshops and training courses in the following disciplines:
