The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, visited this morning the new playground in the neighborhood of Santa Maria de Gracia, located in the Triangular Plaza.
The Urban Quality Service has finalized this week the works of expansion of this space of children, thanks to which it has been extended from the existing 40 meters to the current 140 square meters.
The tasks have also consisted in the replacement of the anti-impact rubber tile and the safety perimeter fence.
Likewise children's games have been changed and expanded with the placement of 7 new elements for the fun of the smallest of the neighborhood.
It should be remembered that last June, also in the neighborhood of Santa Maria de Gracia, a new area was opened for children in the garden of Calle Antonio Machado.
The Councilor for Modernization explained that "this action continues to work on the plan to improve playgrounds in public spaces, with which, in recent months, has acted in more than one hundred areas throughout the municipality , So that the families of Murcia can enjoy squares, parks and gardens in neighborhoods and districts.
