The Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, is working this week on the installation of a new lighting that will also allow to enjoy the mural of the Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, a portrait of Salvador Dalí in El Centro Puertas de Castilla.
Thus, two light bulbs of 300 w each are being installed which will allow a total of 61,200 lumens to illuminate the large mural made by the graffiti municipal office in collaboration with Ferrovial services.
These lights, which are connected with the lighting of public lighting, are equipped with an automatic regulation system which from 2am reduces its intensity by 20%
During this week the focus or lighting tests are being carried out.
In addition, the Grafiti Municipal Office is studying the application of a special varnish to keep this work of art in optimum condition.
