The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, delivered this morning a check worth € 5,000 to the Association of Families of Children with Cancer in the Region of Murcia.
An amount resulting from the benefits generated by the celebration of the Fourth Congress Beyond that held last May 20 and 21 in the municipality.
Together with Jesús Pacheco was Francisco Palazón Espinosa, President of the Association who thanked the contribution for the implementation of workshops and activities aimed at sick children and their families.
AFACMUR provides psychological services to children and their environment, social care with information and management of resources, reception, emotional support, individualized social intervention, etc., educational care with play activities in hospitals and tutoring in schools, as well as Programs.
At the end of May, the Teatro Circo hosted the IV Congreso Más Alá, which was attended by more than 500 people, bringing together speakers of national and international prestige and also counted on the broadcasting of the Espacio en Blanco program of Radio Nacional de Espańa, presented And directed by the famous Miguel Blanco.
