Invited by the Chair of Water and Sustainability of the University of Murcia (UMU), directed by Professor Teresa María Navarro, some twenty scientists from the Mexican Institute of Water Technology visit various facilities and crops of the Region these days.
His stay in Murcia, which lasts until next Friday, aims to learn how the problems of aridity and lack of water resources are being tackled in the Region of Murcia.
The scientists have attended this Wednesday the reception that Professor Navarro has offered them in the Convalescence building, headquarters of the Rector of the UMU.
The program includes a visit to a sewage treatment plant, a desalination plant and several farming areas located in both Murcia and Cartagena.
Your stay will conclude next Friday with the visit to the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura.
