The Councilor for Development, Roque Ortiz, accompanied by the president of the Fuertes Group, Tomás Fuertes, visited this morning the works corresponding to the modification of exit 148 of the A-30 dual carriageway, which are part of the work included in the project Of urbanization of the partial plan ZU-Ab2 Montevida, promoted by PROFU SA, and affecting an area of ​​more than 800,000 square meters.
These works consist of the creation of a direct lane, by means of a collecting way of 280 meters in length and a width of 4 meters with the corresponding shoulders, which links the A-30 motorway with access to El Palmar and the Hospital Universitario Virgen de The Arrixaca.
This will eliminate the congestion problems that currently present the exit 148 of the highway to Cartagena, deriving the fraction of traffic of greater volume, to El Palmar, taking it out of the existing gazebo and providing a direct link To the road of the general system of the urbanization Montevida.
In this vial, the roadway has been split by two lanes in each direction, separated by a central median of three meters wide.
Thus, they have executed two roundabouts that will regulate the traffic of entrance and exit of the Montevida Urbanization and the parcel of cession to the University of Murcia.
Today, there is a service road owned by the City of Murcia, which runs parallel to the A-30 motorway, from the PK 146 + 900 to the PK 147 + 800, along the right-hand road, and which connects the Southern Coast between La Alberca and El Palmar, and the roundabout that regulates the entrance traffic of the motorway to the connecting road with the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca and access to La Alberca.
Said service route is interrupted with the aforementioned works of the outlet 148 although, in order to maintain the functionality of said service path, some adaptation works are being executed which will give access to the A-30 dual carriageway through the vial Interior of the urbanization Montevida.

On the other hand, urbanization works continue to progress, being executed in 90%.
Work is currently being completed on the road near the Montevida Shopping Center in the La Alberca area, the execution of the sound-absorbing screens, furniture and finishing works corresponding to the sanitation networks, drinking water supply, telecommunications network, gas network , Street lighting, and electrification.
Thus, work has been carried out in the Cañada Real in order to maintain this traditional road according to the indications of the Autonomous Community.
During the works the pedestrian traffic is being maintained allowing the connection of El Palmar to La Alberca.
At the same time PROFU SA continues its promotional activity, in this case, in its residential building division, with the start of works on a single-family housing project in the La Alberca area and will continue with different residential real estate developments in the Buenavista area and The Palmar.
The design of the urbanization has been carefully considered, including major infrastructure works such as the storm tank and the raft, providing this area with maximum security against torrential rains.
Another notable technological incorporation is the installation of smart streetlights with controlled remote management system from the municipal offices.
This urban project has an important endowment of welfare services and infrastructures made to improve the quality of life of residents, highlighting the design of a network of pedestrian walks, sports equipment, the execution of 7,300 meters of bike path with width of 2 , 20 meters and 2.50 meters, which will link through a lower passage of the motorway, the two residential areas of La Alberca and Buenavista.
Likewise, 18 points of containers will be buried to recycle solid urban waste, thus guaranteeing the visual aesthetics of the entire residential complex.
In addition, nine large green areas will be created with a total surface area of ​​64,300 square meters and 1,820 tree branches on the roads with plantations of Melia Azedarach, Robinia Pseudoacacia, Celtis Australis, Morus Alba, Prunus Cerasifera, ... The area will have 16 children's play areas for different ages and areas of biosaludable elements for adults, as well as canine recreation area and leisure garden.
Currently, a medium-sized shopping center and a local shopping center is being built.

The British college King's college will also soon build its new school in Murcia.
According to forecasts, the opening of the service road of the Southern Coast will take place in mid-September while the opening of the access road to the Arrixaca will be carried out when urbanization works are completed, due to be scheduled for next autumn.
