The PSOE denounce that the commissioning of the electric towers in La Arboleja is a breach of a mandate from the plenary sessions of Murcia and the Municipal Board Enrique Ayuso recalls that in March the City Council approved the motion to dismantle (29/07/2017)

The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group has denounced the start of work to service the electric towers located in the hamlet of La Arboleja in the middle of a sidewalk near the Malecon

In this regard, remember that first the Municipal Board of La Arboleja, presided over by the Socialist José Pérez, in November 2015 and in July 2016 unanimously of all groups including the PP, as in March this year in the full City Council Of Murcia were approved several motions for the immediate dismantling of the towers and leave the sidewalk free of obstacles.

After the approval of both motions and despite the meetings held, the Government team of the City of Murcia "not only has not been able to meet the requirements and dismantle them, but even allows them to be put into operation in the last end Week of July, on Sunday and at dawn. They must believe that hiding in a Sunday we will not realize their inability to solve the problems of the people.

Says Ayuso.

He adds that initially the towers were to be installed in the land belonging to the Compensation Board that develops the Urbanization Project PC-AL1, but later received municipal authorization to install them outside the area to urbanize on public land and in the middle of a sidewalk.

In addition these towers that carry aerial wiring are placed to few meters of the Mill of the Love and the BIC of the Walk of the Malecón, two symbols of the Huerta of Murcia.
