The City Council removes the paper and implements electronic contracting in tenders from September 15 (28/07/2017)

As of September 15, the use of paper will give way to the electronic processing of recruitment files.

It is a measure that contributes to boosting the concurrence of tenders and guarantees the freedom of access to tenders, publicity and transparency in contracts, in order to encourage attendance and greater participation in these procedures.

The regulation on common procedure of the Public Administrations establishes the obligation to relate electronically with them to all legal persons, as well as the right of all citizens to do so, which implies that the different Public Administrations are equipped with the corresponding electronic means .

The legal limit established is in October 2018, but the City of Murcia has advanced the procedures to put it into force with more than a year in advance.

In March, the procedure for the electronic processing of minor contracts was established, both as regards the electronic submission of bids and the processing of the file, thus extending to these contracts both the bidding - thus extending the guarantees of The legislation of public contracting to this type of contracts - like its electronic electronic processing.

In this regard, the Governing Board today adopted the agreement to enable the electronic configuration of the processing of open procedures.

Once training sessions for municipal services have been held and the bidding platform for the electronic submission of tenders has been prepared, all recruitment files that are promoted and submitted after September 15 will be carried out through electronic means.
