The University of Murcia (UMU) will give the next course the own Degree of Modeling and 3D Animation, which has been proposed by the Faculty of Fine Arts, headed by Dean Mariano Flores, and approved by the Governing Council of this institution teacher.
This is the first degree to be taught by the UMU and, as such, is not an official title of the Spanish university system.
This degree will be offered to all those students who wish to graduate in the fields of 3D animation and video games.
The training consists of three years, focused on the Creation of Characters, Modeling, Rendering of Scenarios and, finally, Rig and Animation for films and video games.
The aim is to create professionals who can fill the demand for jobs in production, both in the animation and video games sectors, which is one of the fields of greatest professional growth in recent years .
Students will learn all the techniques of Modeling, Rig, Render and Animation used in the best production studies, so they will have the opportunity to enter the labor market, from Advertising Agencies to Animation Studies or Architecture or creating their own Video Games Studio.
