The professor and researcher of the research group of Toxicology of the University of Murcia (UMU) Emma Martínez López, who holds the position since 2014, has been reelected general secretary of the Spanish Association of Toxicology (AETOX) in the General Assembly of partners, Celebrated during the XXII Spanish Congress and Iberoamerican VI of Toxicology, that took place at the end of last June in the city of Valencia.

The Spanish Association of Toxicology is an associative and non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster the relationship and cooperation between its members and other national and international associations and to coordinate their efforts to contribute to the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the different areas Of Toxicology.

In addition, it is responsible for publishing publications on the subject, advising public bodies, encouraging the creation of fellowships for the extension of toxicological studies and collaborating with public or private institutions for the scientific and technical development of Toxicology.
