The Teatro Romea hosts from today until Sunday, July 9, the II Course - Orchestra Conducting Contest, organized by Orfeón Murciano Fernández Caballero and sponsored by the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia.

It is attended by 13 students from different cities throughout Spain (Valencia, Cordoba, Jaén, Alicante and Murcia) who will learn from the Professor of Conducting the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, José Miguel Rodilla.

The orchestra of the course will be the Orfeón de Jóvenes del Orfeón Murciano Fernández Caballero.

After the closing concert, which will take place next Sunday at 12 noon at the Teatro Romea de Murcia, the winner of the competition will be announced, which will be awarded a scholarship for the full amount of the course, a certificate and the possibility To direct a concert of the next season of Orfeón Fernández Caballero.

Admission will be free and invitations may be withdrawn one hour before the start of the concert.
