The City Council of Murcia, through the Council of Social Rights, directed by Conchita Ruiz, today held a new meeting of the Project of Attention to Biopsychosocial Welfare with which it is intended to promote women's health, detecting biopsychosocial malaise and intervene On the symptoms through an adequate listening and working in a group environment coordinated by specialized psychologists.
The project includes 11 sessions with the women's group of El Esparragal and 11 sessions with the group of women of Monteagudo, taught by a psychology professional, expert in group dynamics with women, for which 3,200 euros are allocated.
A few days that have been developed during the last two years in coordination with the Health Center of El Esparragal, with very positive results in terms of attendance and satisfaction of women participants.
It has also been presented as an example of good practices at the V Socio-Sanitary Meeting of Area VII, held on 12 May.
Among the specific objectives sought through this action, through medical consultations, nursing and psychology, highlight improving the quality of life of women by promoting healthy living habits, promote health through self-care and self-acceptance, Offer an active and empathetic listening space, as well as favor the analysis and integration of the different vital, family and / or social situations that can cause them discomfort with associated symptoms.
