From 14 to 16 July the "International course of high performance in basketball" is held in San Javier, within the activities of the International University of the Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum, the summer courses organized by the University of Murcia.
The address is in charge of Juan Carlos García Gómez, Jose Margineda Puigpelat and Antonio Pérez Jiménez.
The speakers of the course are mostly Spanish basketball coaches, among them Joan Plaza Durán, coach of the Unicaja de Málaga;
Jaume Ponsarnau, of Valencia Basket;
Carlos Colinas, of RC Celta;
Daniel Miret, of the Joventut of Badalona;
Gonzalo Rodríguez, of the CB Obradoiro or Diego Ocampo, of the Joventut of Badalona.
The main objective of this activity is to bring the methods of work of high level basketball professionals in a friendly and didactic way but with full rigor and depth in the analysis.
The course seeks to complement the regulated training of basketball coaches.
Its recipients are coaches in active and in training, as well as anyone interested in understanding better the ins and outs of this sport.
The course, whose registration lasts 25 hours.
Students enrolled will receive 2.5 credits of free configuration and 1 ECTS credit - CRAU.
