The neighborhood of Santa Eulalia, where many initiatives of revaluation and adaptation of this historical point of the capital are being carried out, within the DNA Project, have become the stage of the shooting of 'Ma petite Sophie' The first feature film by Murcia filmmaker Rubén Bautista.
'Ma petite Sophie', is a psychological thriller that plays with a realistic and very daily terror that takes as references 'Repulsion' and 'The seed of the devil', both of Roman Polanski.
It is a project in which three characters must survive in a suffocating environment interrupted by a strange visitor who will keep the viewers in suspense.
Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez visited the recording team during the first day of work to show "their support for the young Murcia talent, and especially that related to culture, which aspires to represent Murcia in both national and international festivals."
Rubén Bautista is a teacher at the School of Art of Murcia and has been recognized and awarded nationally and internationally on several occasions for short films such as 'Y cuaaando ...?', 'Transbordo', 'I knew' or 'Marcial Z' , among others.
In addition it obtained the first prize in the Contest CreaMurcia in 2006 in the modality of Shorts and in 2009 in the one of Literature.
