The municipal group Citizens has asked the local government that, as a preventive measure, develop a special security plan for the weekends of summer in the municipality.

"We are talking about a stage in which there is a marked increase in robberies in houses, storage rooms and garages that remain empty for days, due to holidays and changes of residence to the beach areas."

"We must take measures to prevent thefts during the summer," said the spokesman for the orange formation, Mario Gomez, who has once again stressed "the need to increase security measures to reduce the risk of leaving habitual residence empty , Either during the weekends or during longer periods ".

In this sense, Gomez has asked the PP to assess these circumstances and implement a preventive plan as soon as possible.

In fact - he explained - there are districts that have suffered robberies and vandalism for months, and in full daylight, and this will become worse from next week, with the entry of the month of July, so that the City Council, in collaboration with the Government Delegation, should act imminently.

So the citizen's spokesman moved him to the Government Delegate, Antonio Sánchez-Solis, in the meeting held last week, in which the Citizens' spokesman expressed his concern about this increase of the citizen insecurity in the municipality, aggravated in the Pedanias, during the last months;
