This is the reverse mission project of ICEX, the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade, in which UCAM participates.
A program that seeks to attract American students to Spanish universities to take different courses and fundamentally learn Spanish.
The UCAM offers training in 3D design, database applications or sports management.
Courses of several weeks in which Spanish classes are included.
The Catholic University of Murcia offers the Study Abroad program that is aimed at international students who want to expand their knowledge in certain areas and specializations.
Among the courses, in addition to the summer and winter courses that offer immersion in our culture and our language, other programs are offered more specific, related to very current topics that are highly demanded by the students.
They are courses such as "Foundations and applications of the Big Data", "3D Design" "Management for the Tourism Industry", "Media" or "Sports Management".
All courses of three and four weeks that respond to specific needs in accordance with the studies that these American students are taking in their country.
With this training, they complement their curriculum, learn Spanish and live new experiences.
These 12 representatives of the different American universities are touring the universities of the Levant to know the courses offered here and include them in their study programs abroad.
Spain is one of the favorite destinations for American students, so the members of these universities are very interested in strengthening ties and creating new study opportunities for their students.
Universities that visit UCAM today are: Curry College of Milton in Massachusetts, Florida International University of Miami, Georgia State University in Atlanta, Gordon State University in Georgia, Hollins University of Virginia, Metropolitan State University of Denver, North Carolina Central University, Pace University of New York, University of Northern Colorado, University of the Pacific in California, University of Washington Tacoma and Western Carolina University in North Carolina.
