The University of Murcia (UMU) celebrates today, the 28th, and tomorrow, various activities that have organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus European Mobility Program.
These activities have begun with the opening of the Mobility Days between countries of the KA 103 program, which was held in the Paraninfo, on the campus of La Merced, and in which the rector, José Orihuela, intervened;
The Vice-rector for Coordination and Internationalization, Bernardo Cascales, and the director of the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education, Pablo Martín.
In the act it has been emphasized that, for years, the UMU is one of the institutions that more number of places offers for these exchanges.
The program will continue this afternoon, at 18:00 hours, also in the Paraninfo, with the commemorative acts of the aforementioned anniversary.
In the same there will be an acknowledgment to the program managers who have contributed to its consolidation since 1987, and will also feature the performance of the modern section of the University Choir of Murcia.
Likewise, it is planned to celebrate an Erasmus Birthday Party in the University Square, starting at 19:45 hours.
Tomorrow, June 29, will be held other conferences, in this case, dedicated to the mobility between countries of the Program KA 107. It will also be in the Paraninfo, from 16:00 hours.
