Next weekend Murcia will become the national headquarters of Cadet Athletics (27/06/2017)

Felipe Coello, Councilor for Sports and Health, presented this morning the Spanish Athletics Cadet Championship 2017 together with the President of the Spanish Athletics Federation, Raúl Chapado, and the President of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, Juan Manuel Molina.

This national championship will take place on 1 and 2 July, with the expected participation of some 700 athletes representing all the Autonomous Communities, at the Monte Romero Stadium of the Espinardo Campus.

This national sporting event constitutes a major tourist promotion for the city of Murcia and an occasion to bring the hobby to the practice of physical activity and sport.

Felipe Coello, Councilor for Sports and Health, has stated that "this championship is great news for Murcia that will become those days in the center of attention of the world of athletics in Spain, demonstrating that we are a city overturned with this sport."
