The City Council and the Junta de Tierras met to oversee the Huerta's recovery projects. The councilor for Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, has chaired this commission to coordinate the works and analyze the forecasts of complia (26/06/2017)

The Councilor for Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, chaired this morning the committee to follow up the Agreement with the Board of Landowners for the projects of Huerta del Municipio that was signed on January 18, 2016 between the Board of Landowners and The City of Murcia.

The purpose of this meeting is to coordinate the authorizations and works in which both institutions have competencies to follow up on a quarterly basis.

This commission has analyzed the fulfillment of the provisions of the Convention, reviewing the authorizations and collaboration of the various plans such as the irrigation ditch of the Raal Viejo de Llano de Brujas that is in the project, the Mill of Love and Batán that are pending Award, the Mill of the Gunpowder whose project is drafted and is in the phase of technical supervision, the adaptation of the environment of the Azacaya that is in drafting and the projects of Murcia River of the Alameda of the Marists and the access from the Four Stones that Is in the contracting stage.

Likewise, Navarro stated that "in this meeting we have reviewed several issues and we have discussed the public sessions that are held in the City Council every month of the Council of Good Men for the empowerment of this institution that is a patrimony of humanity.
