The Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, announced this morning the call for a new exchange for young people of the municipality that completes the offer scheduled for this summer, the result of ongoing work from the Youth Service is carried out.
An activity that could be added new projects during the next weeks, "being an open activity," as the mayor said.
The activity, to be held in Kokkola (Finland), between 6 and 12 August, has 10 places for young people of the municipality of Murcia born between 1 January 2000 and 31 December 2004.
"To this exchange, which like the rest of the offered has a cost of 225 euros, only those young people enrolled in the
Municipal Campaign for Youth Exchanges 2017 that are on the waiting list and meet the requirements established for this exchange, "said the councilor.
In this case it is a stay that has the music as the axis on which activities and workshops programmed, helping the young musicians to introduce themselves from an intercultural experience in the world of music along with other young people from different backgrounds and musical styles.
Throughout that week, multicultural music events have been prepared with and for local youth, as well as a live concert with the collaboration of all participating countries, which will be broadcast live and open to the world.
An experience they will share with young people from, as well as Finland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium and Germany.
