The project ADN Urbano Santa Eulalia continues to open new spaces and improving the aesthetics of squares and streets of the neighborhood, thanks to the active participation of the neighbors.
This afternoon will open the open-air museum that appears from the windows of the double facade of the Palacio Santa Quiteria, which features 14 works by young Murcia artists;
An event that will feature the presence of the creators, Mayor Jose Ballesta, neighbors and members of the municipal corporation.
The paintings have been created by 14 young students of Fine Arts and finalists of the discipline of Plastic Arts of different editions of CreaMurcia.
The neighbors have been able to follow closely the whole creative process, as the artists took their canvases to the street and last week they painted their paintings in the Plaza de Santa Eulalia.
In particular, the Fine Arts students who have collaborated are Dimitri Dello, Anastasia Dello, Pablo López, Pablo Follana, Rocío Caballero, Lorena Cabrera and Paula Menarguez;
While CreaMurcia Ana Gabarrón, Jonás Delgado, Lucas Brox, Esther Marín, María José Puche, Cristina Franco and Alba Flores participated.
The works, of free thematic, have been shaped in canvases of 1.4 meters of height by 70 centimeters of width.
After being photographed, they occupy the 14 windows that the palace of Santa Quiteria has.
This is the first of a series of temporary exhibitions that will decorate this building - which houses the dependencies of the Department of Finance - in the coming months.
Santa Quiteria: Paseo de las Letras
In addition to this outdoor museum, Santa Quiteria will become a Calle de las Letras, since the pavement will be decorated in the coming days with quotes from literati.
It will also be installed furniture and living areas with book exchange, becoming the first bookcrossing point of the municipality.
