From 11 to 14 July, the International University of the Sea-Campus Mare Nostrum organizes in San Pedro del Pinatar a Workshop on Biomedicine and Quality of Life whose objective is to acquire up-to-date information on healthy living habits and possible biomedical actions that allow to achieve An adequate quality of life.
According to those responsible for the course, "we are increasingly worried about having a good quality of life, including aging and death."
The course will cover topics related to daily health and the cult of the beauty of the body, including adequate development of nutritional habits, physical activity or body aesthetics, eating disorders or living will.
The workshop is led by UMU professors Alfonsa García Ayala and José Meseguer Peñalver.
It will have a duration of 30 hours, the enrollees will receive 3 credits of free configuration or 1 ECTS-CRAU credits.
