A doctoral thesis at the University of Murcia (UMU) by Taner Demirci López has proposed a joint theological reading of the Bible and the Koran on the idea that this could contribute to a lasting peace that is considered prophesied in both texts.
This research work delves into the search for a unique theology that can be accepted by Christianity and Islam, for which it carries out a rereading of the sacred texts that were interpreted in its day to establish the doctrines of those.
One of the conclusions of the doctoral thesis is that the joint reading proposed is accurate and necessary for humanity.
The thesis proposes to the Christian institutions to intensify their studies on the Koran, considering that their teachings do not differ from the monotheism of Santiago and Pablo.
This scientific work has been directed by Professors Bernardo Pérez Andreo and Emilio González Ferrín.
