The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, presented this morning the I Edition of the night race 'Aljureceņa' to be held on Wednesday 28th in this hamlet and that is part of the race circuit 'Run for Murcia'.

The march, organized by the Municipal Board of Aljucer, will leave at 20:30 hours to start an urban tour and through the garden over a distance of approximately 5,200 meters.

In this race are estimated around 250 people and can join and participate federated or non-federated athletes, who have reached the age of 16, until next Monday.

The objective of this initiative 'Run for Murcia' is to promote popular athletics for the summer season where the main stage of this circuit will be the districts.

Marches have already been held in Javalí Nuevo or Llano de Brujas among others, and the next ones to be played will be in Corvera on July 14 and in El Esparragal on July 25.

Coello has stated that "with this initiative we approach the popular races to the districts, so that they can enjoy the running assistants, a day of sport and coexistence and in this way invite to know the hamlet of Aljucer."
