A course at the International University of the Sea-Campus Mare Nostrum will show the scientific, technical and historical knowledge of parachuting, as well as the material used by the parachutists.

The activity will take place at the Air Base Sewer from June 19 to 22.

"Fourth Course: Skydiving: History, Teaching and Research" is the title of the activity led by Ignacio Martínez González-Moro, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia and by José Pablo Aldama Guillén, Lieutenant Colonel and Head of Studies at the EMP, will show students the teaching and training systems for both manual and automatic opening jumps, as well as launch towers, simulators or the wind tunnel.

The characteristics, history and activities of the Acrobatic Patrol (PAPEA) and the Squadron of Sappers (EZAPAC) will be addressed in the course.

The Mendez Parada Military Airborne School of the Air Force is the only one in Spain, being in the European elite and constituting an international reference for its modern facilities.

Those who enroll in this activity will be entitled to 2.5 credits free configuration or 1 ECTS-CRAU Credit.
