"Psychological Intervention in Functional Rehabilitation of Sports Injuries Second Edition" is the title of a course of the International University of the Sea-Campus Mare Nostrum, to be held at the Faculty of Sports Science of San Javier the week of 19 to 23 of June.
Among the most novel aspects for the treatment of sports injuries are psychological factors, hence the course, given by physicians, physical trainers and physiotherapists try to determine how they include the psychological mechanisms in the evolution of the recovery of sports injuries and provide the Competencies needed to improve in this regard.
The activity, directed by Aurelio Olmedilla Zafra, professor of the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatment and Director of the Sports Activities Service of the University of Murcia, has a duration of 30 hours, and those who enroll in it will be entitled to 3 credits Of free configuration or an ECTS-CRAU credit.
