The Councilor for Social Rights of the City of Murcia has said today that "the summer schools of the municipality are adapted to children with different disabilities, so there is no need to open any specific space."
The objective of the Government team, stressed the councilor, is "to integrate the minors, not discriminate in different summer schools to that of their colleagues or friends, so that the spaces enabled will allow the development of the activities of all attendees , Accompanied by professionals trained to care.
"No minor with different disabilities of our municipality has to leave the municipality in order to enjoy in equality of the schools organized by the Department.
The commitment to integrate is clear for us, and we have monitors specifically designed to cater for children and their different disabilities. "
In addition there are summer schools subsidized by the City of Murcia and organized by different entities of the disability, which will accommodate the specific demand of these associations for its members.
For all this "we encourage all children to apply for their place in summer schools to enjoy a few days full of games and activities together with their friends and colleagues," said Conchita Ruiz.
