The Government Board approved the application for a grant to the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), for the implementation of the Joint Program of Employment-Training for Youth Youth Guarantee (PMEF-GJ), with the project 'Energy Efficiency '.

Its objectives are the professional qualification for the labor insertion of young people and the program is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of various municipal facilities.

24 student workers will participate in this training action, thus being able to obtain two certificates of level 2 professionalism: Installation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar installations and Installation and maintenance of public address systems, sound systems and closed circuit television

The activities of the two specialties of this project will focus mainly on the Municipal Initiatives Center of Murcia and the Local Development Agency, in which two solar photovoltaic solar energy collection systems will be installed that will supply various services of its facilities.

A closed circuit television will also be installed in the nursery of El Mayayo, in the Museum of the City and in the CFIE-El Palmar, thus improving safety in them.

In addition, the installation of the sound system in the auditorium of the Center of Resources for the Employment of Alquerías and the sound system in the common areas of the Local Development Agency, as well as the installation of the pending areas of connection In the Center of Municipal Initiatives (CIM-M), and a system of recording and viewing streaming in the halls of events of these last two centers.

On the other hand, these two specialties will carry out the preventive and incidental maintenance of the photovoltaic and public address systems, sound systems and closed circuits of television of the CFIE-LA FICA, CFIE-EL PALMAR, Local Development Agency and Center of Municipal Initiatives CIM-M .

The commitment of financing of the part contributed by the City of Murcia is of 200,000 euros, to realize during the years 2.017-2018.

The total estimated cost of the project is 396,767.60 euros, receiving from the SEF, for the realization of the same, a subsidy of 196,767.60 euros financed from its budgets and co-financed by the European Social Fund.

The duration of the project will be 9 months, starting before September 8, 2017.
