Rafael Gómez, Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage has attended the closing of the workshops of school reinforcement and educational leisure developed by the Foundation FADE in the district of San Andrés during the course 2016/2017 that has enabled 48 minors In a situation of vulnerability thanks to the work of 40 volunteers of the FADE Foundation.
The facilities of CEIP San Andrés and the Municipal Center of García Alix have served as a meeting point for the attention to minors that has been realized through workshops of school reinforcement, education in values ​​and educational leisure in English.
This has helped to support a particularly sensitive group, that of immigrant and indigenous children with limited economic and educational resources, improving the academic performance of the participating children and facilitating their social insertion through inclusive education.
"It is very important to emphasize the collaboration that Murcia City Council maintains with FADE or La Caixa and which allows projects such as this to be implemented, involving parents in the social integration of minors through inclusive education", highlighted Rafael Gómez during the closing.
