The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has announced the public call for grants for the promotion of youth participation in the municipality of Murcia.
This was confirmed by the Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Pérez, who stressed that "these grants are intended exclusively for non-profit associations and specifically youth and students or students, federations and entities providing services To the youth ".
The total amount of this aid for non-profit-making associations and non-profit-making bodies specifically for young people and students or students, federations of students and youth sections of adult institutions, is 60,000 euros, and aims to encourage and stimulate the operation Of associations and youth group.
In this way, Rebeca Pérez stressed that grants will be awarded for those projects that include the entire program of the entity or a specific section of the program, provided that they are intended for the population of the municipality aged 8 and The 35 years, and destined to activities as:
- Promotion of youth participation and association.
- Programs of socio-cultural animation and social education in the non-formal field.
- Leisure activities and free time.
- Those related to youth culture and creativity.
- Training and advice on activities, operation and management of youth associations.
- Promotion of volunteering in the general interest.
- Those that enhance social inclusion and integration of young people.
- Those that promote gender equality as a value and prevent gender violence.
- Those that promote the prevention of bullying, cyber-bullying and youth violence.
- In general, those projects that are within the scope of action of the Youth Service.
The deadline to apply for the subsidy will be 20 calendar days from the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and applications may be submitted in the Youth Service of the City of Murcia and in the General Registry of the City, As well as in any single window.
