The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved this morning the award by open procedure with single criterion price, of the works relating to the "Renovation of facades and cover centers in the Municipal Market of San Andrés."
It has done so in favor of the mercantile Eurovías y Proyectos, SL
The budget for this project is 166,945 euros and has a term of execution of three months and will deal with the renovation of facades and roofs.
When the works are completed, the building will be fully accessible for people with disabilities, while currently only three of the six existing entrances.
In this way the Consistory takes a step further in the development of a program of measures for the commercial promotion and development of activities aimed at modernizing, strengthening and energizing this sector.
One of the fundamental elements is represented by the plans of action in the matter of commerce directed to the places of supplies.
These works are in addition to those made in the Vistabella grocery store worth more than 300,000 euros, Saavedra Fajardo for the relocation of the fruit vendors, which had an amount of 24,992 euros or those related to the replacement of escalators And air conditioning of the market of Verónicas, with a budget of more than 300,000 euros.
In addition, from the Department of Commerce are studying different proposals aimed at the aesthetic improvement of the positions of supplies of Cabezo de Torres and Espinardo.
