On the occasion of the cycle of concerts organized by the 550th anniversary of the Cathedral of Murcia, Coral Discantus plays the "Gloria" by A. Vivaldi and masterpieces of Chapel of the Cathedral of Murcia in the s.
XIX (Mariano García and Julián Calvo).
As usual, the choir will be directed by Angel Carrillo, and the singers will be accompanied to the organ by Alfonso Guillamón de los Reyes.
The first part of the concert, with the Mercklin organ, will be made from the high choir.
A section of the symphony orchestra of the UCAM will accompany the choral in the second part, the "Gloria" of Vivaldi, from the Presbitero.
Before the concert, the professor of the Conservatorio Superior de Música Consuelo Prats will give a presentation to the public.
The concert, free entry, will be held at 20.30 hours this Thursday, May 25.
On Saturday, September 9, the choir will be in the town of Caravaca de la Cruz to interpret the "Gloria" of A. Vivaldi and the Jubilee Mass of F. Cantó, accompanied by the OSUCAM orchestra, coinciding with the celebrations of the Exaltation from the cross.
