NOW MURCIA demands that ADIF explain the replacement of ditches and azarbes channels in the area of ​​the Huerta Este de Murcia, which have been affected by the works of the arrival of the AVE to Murcia and the new railway platform that was built a few years ago.

Since the municipal training, there has been a field visit, both to the works currently under way, where the extraction of irrigation flows for infrastructure works was already reported, as well as the area already built within the municipality of Murcia.

In this visit has been possible to verify the existence of "works of dubious execution", according to the engineers consulted by Ahora Murcia.

Among these works which are requested to explain to ADIF can be observed misconnected pipes, several of them without the corresponding seals sealed and ditches back that do not provide any service, as well as walls without the minimum alignment for its correct operation.

It is striking the replacement of some channels that do not service any plot, as pipes have been placed under the AVE platform to irrigate the expropriated land where the Reguerón highway is being built.

Likewise, rainwater drains have been used to place ditches inside them, in maneuvers of dubious technical execution.

Along the route of the new railway platform can be seen, in addition to replacements without service, unfinished constructions, partitions without protection, subsidence of the areas near the ditches, uncovered or unfilled blankets, etc.

For Now Murcia would be blatant that millions of euros of public money have been spent on poorly made works that are useless, "an example of the nefarious planning of AVE works in Murcia."
