Work with people in situations of social exclusion and homeless is the objective of a day that this year marks its thirteenth edition Homeless people will be in charge, once again, of carrying out workshops for children or actions for the attendees
The thirteenth edition of the Fiesta en la Calle returns to the Silk Garden for, one more year, to fill up activities this afternoon Saturday, May 20th.
The event, organized by twelve associations or socio-cultural entities of the municipality, in collaboration with the City of Murcia, seeks to promote the active participation of people at risk of social exclusion to enhance their capabilities.
It also aims to raise awareness of the population of the municipality with the situation in which "homeless" people live, those who are at the highest levels of social exclusion, thus making their problem visible and allowing their visibility on the part of the whole citizenship.
The City Council of Murcia, through the Council of Social Rights, collaborates in the realization of a day in which "what we are looking for is that the true protagonists and responsible of this event are the people who meet each week and take on different tasks With the aim that all citizens can enjoy without exclusion or distinction, "as Conchita Ruiz said.
Representatives and users of the Social Services resources of the City of Murcia, as well as the organizers organize workshops for children, a workshop for biodanza, plays, offer free snacks, and enjoy different concerts.
