The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved this morning the specifications of specific administrative clauses and technical requirements for the recruitment of the "Service for the implementation of the 2017 Summer School project for the municipality of Murcia, from a gender perspective" .
It has a maximum investment of more than 150,000 euros and will allow more than 1,300 children from the neighborhoods and districts to attend.
The programming of the summer schools will be made taking into account the profile, needs and interests of the child population and according to the characteristics and needs of the territory.
All this taking into account the proposals or demands of the professionals of the municipal centers of social services of each one of the zones of action where the summer school is developed.
The thirty-four summer schools will be held in July, preferably in the morning, with a daily duration of 4 hours.
They will be developed in the districts and districts to be determined by the City Council to provide the participating children with resources to compensate for their needs, social and educational needs, boosting their aspirations, focusing on aspects of their daily life, that of their family, Educational center and peer group.
The field of leisure and leisure is an indispensable framework for the detection and intervention in the problems that affect children, as well as a privileged space for the development of a socio-educational action for their full social and community integration.
In this way, the Department of Social Rights, directed by Conchita Ruiz, maintains the programs to promote and develop summer schools of a playful and educational nature, aimed at the promotion and social integration of those involved, in order to prevent and / Or detect situations of risk or social exclusion.
All this, thanks to an adequate program of activities and adapted to the needs and demands of the target population of this project, with contents of teamwork, positive interpersonal relationships, participation and child protagonism.
Coexistence, respect for the environment, cultural diversity, education for peace, solidarity, gender equality or the promotion of health are some of the values ​​that are sought to instill in minors through the implementation of these activities. Will be programmed with a gender perspective, attending centers of interest and according to the following contents:
Education in values, social skills and conflict resolution.
Education for health.
Environmental education.
Community Activities.
Intergenerational actions and initiatives.
Activities of animation and dynamization.
Human and Child Rights.
Awareness activities on the Rights of the Child.
