The Citizens' spokesman, Mario Gómez, is going to demand to the Plenum of the next Thursday the creation of two commissions of investigation, one on the works of burial of the AVE to its arrival to Murcia;
And another about the construction project of the youth center located in Juan de Borbón.
Doubts about the works of the AVE
Unfortunately, "said Gómez," both projects are surrounded by doubts about which we must bring light.
"In the case of the AVE," he said, "the half-truths, improvisations, extra costs and defaults have been the general trend."
"From Citizens," he emphasized, "we did not want to, nor do we want to be accomplices of this continuous deception to the neighbors;
For this reason we will demand this commission of monitoring and control of the works, to supervise all the information and to be able to inform the society ".
We are talking about a series of issues that we have already moved to the President of Adif, Juan Bravo - and now we want to resolve from this commission - around the second phase of the AVE project, calls for tender and direct awards, modifications, deadlines, budget items and Concrete numbers, in short, palpable evidence, has reiterated.
Youth Center, Unresolved Incognitos
As for the center of Juan de Borbón, Gómez has affirmed that "it is enough to resort to the newspaper library to understand that something has not gone well;
Another project plagued by uncertainties, and with many aspects that we still do not know. "
In this regard, the spokesperson for the orange formation recalled that, initially, the total investment planned for the project was 1,100,000 euros, of which 950,000 corresponded to the City and 150,000 to the IMAS.
The skeleton of this building, continued, was built in 2010, being awarded to a company for an initial amount of 771,417 euros which, a posteriori, proved to be insufficient;
And the project, it seems, also had different aids and subsidies that, having not yet been concluded, we do not know if they have caused any damage to the public coffers.
For all this, the Citizens group, which has already requested a copy and view of the complete file, believes it necessary, "before this and other examples of mismanagement by the PP, to have clear and truthful information on such basic issues as who will assume the Management of this center, why its construction was divided up, the services that are being outsourced will have to be outsourced, the City has had to return the money from the subsidies and aid received, among other things.
