The Municipal Socialist Group demands the mayor José Ballesta to fulfill the promise he made to the residents affected by the demolition of the Puente del Tiñosa bridge to provide them with safe access, as they currently have only one double-way but narrow road, saturated with traffic , Stuck to houses, bumpy and with unpaved stretches.
According to socialist councilor Enrique Ayuso, the mayor promised to open alternative routes (the green corridor, Olivar street and the Mota de los Alemanes and the Tomasines) for as long as the bridge works that are, however, not in operation , So the only one left is the Via de la Via, which supports almost all traffic in the area.
"We are saturating the road that already existed but with the aggravation that now there is no bridge," he explains.
Accompanied by the vice president of the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores, Loli Lacárcel, who recalled that accidents have already occurred, the councilman says that, in addition, the new bridge has a very steep slope for facilitating access to an industry in the area, Which also harms residents.
These works are affecting a hundred neighbors and it is estimated that the traffic that goes through the area is 11,000 vehicles a day, including 3,000 trucks.
