Fifteen medals have added UCAM in the first day of the Championship of Spain University that the Catholic University is organizing in Cartagena.
The competition has ended today with a full of UCAM athletes in 10 kilometers march.
The Murciano Miguel Angel Lopez, world champion, fulfilled the prognosis getting to the gold ahead of the ciezanos Manuel Bermúdez and Benjamín Sánchez.
With these medals, the UCAM faces tomorrow morning in first place of the medal of athletics with fifteen metals: nine golds (Ruth Beitia - height, María Pérez - 5 kms march, Borja Vivas - weight, Álvaro Gutiérrez - 3,000 obstacles, Úrsula Ruiz Miguel Angel Sancho - height, Carla Franch - pole and Miguel Ángel López - 10 kms march), four plats (Emilio Martín - 10,000 meters, Cristina Ferrando - height, Chiara Torrisi - 200 meters and Manu Bermúdez - 10 kms march) and two bronzes (Diego Ruiz - 10,000 meters and Benjamín Sánchez - 10 km march).
Tomorrow morning, in the morning session, the last tests will be played in the Municipal Court of Athletics of Cartagena.
