The Councilor for Social Rights of the City of Murcia, Conchita Ruiz, today visited the Comprehensive Center for Childhood and Reconciliation of work and family life that celebrates workshops with their sixth day of open doors.
Throughout the morning there have been activities for children such as storytellers, gymkanas of diversity, spring crafts or face painting.
A space created in 2007 to enable family and work relationships that allow a balance between these responsibilities to promote the reconciliation of the family and working life of working people.
It is a place for the attention of basic needs, socio-educational and leisure and free time, of the minors of the municipality of Murcia, allowing the working hours of mothers and fathers to be compatible with the care of their daughters and sons.
Services of the center
The center currently offers services aimed at meeting the physical, intellectual and affective needs of the children and youth population, providing them with an adequate infrastructure in which the actions on children and adolescents are run.
A socializing space and personalized and integral attention to families as a whole.
Among the services that are available to minors between 16 weeks and 16 years, there is a children's school for children up to two years old, the playroom for children from 3 to 5 that opens every afternoon or the concilia program for teenagers.
In addition during the non-teaching periods of Easter and Spring Festivals, as well as during the summer months and Christmas period, specialized schools are made available to families.
