Security and cleaning

Although there are events in various parts of the city, FICA is going to become the main stage that will host the event in its 50,000 square meters of space.

Therefore, this will be the fundamental area where the City of Murcia will implement a special security and cleaning device.

To design it, the Local Security Board, meeting last week, analyzed the needs and resources that will be enabled by the City Council on the occasion of this event, which will involve Civil Protection, Fire and Local Police.

In particular, more than a hundred Local Police, Fire and Civil Protection volunteers will be part of this unit, which will provide service to ensure safety and traffic flow.

In addition, there will be police presence in the squares where activities are held with about 15 agents per day.

As for the cleaning device, it will consist of fifty professionals.

The City Council has put in place a special device similar to the one that is carried out in big events like the Bando de la Huerta and the Burial of the Sardine.

In the area of ​​the Fica have been installed 55 containers with capacity of 800 liters, 26 containers of 360 liters and 4 for batteries, in addition to 15 chemical toilets.

In the area of ​​the festival, including in addition to FICA the neighborhoods of Vistabella and Infante, over the weekend will work more than 100 operators and will employ more than 50 mechanical equipment in the cleaning.

In addition, in the squares of Santa Catalina, University and Garden of Fame, where there will be morning events on Saturday and Sunday morning, the afternoon service will be reinforced.

Finally, the cleaning device is completed with the installation of two chemical toilets in the squares, and the civil protection will consist of an ambulance and an immediate intervention vehicle to be installed outside the enclosure.
