The new program, intended for boys and girls between 12 and 30 years, begins next Friday May 5 and will continue during the next 6 weekends.
Music and dance workshops, literary creation, styling or sports activities are repeated in the program.
This edition incorporates astronomical observations, radio courses or guided tours.
The program "Networks for leisure", organized by the Department of Youth, begins next day 5 its new program full of leisure activities and free time that will be carried out in many areas of the municipality thus favoring the accessibility and participation of young people .
The new program, presented today by Rebeca Pérez, is characterized by its variety and attending to the requests and suggestions of young people.
To do this, there will be activities that have had a great participation in previous programs, but also will be carried out new activities.
The municipal youth spaces, such as the Youth Space 585M2, the Youth Venue and the El Palmar Youth Space, are still the axes of the program, as well as sports venues such as the José Barnés Sports Center and the municipal soccer field of Puente Tocinos.
The activities that the Department of Youth has presented this morning are:
- Sign Language Workshop at the Santiago and Zaraiche Cultural Center
- Workshop for initiation to flamenco and BMX in the Center La Estación (Beniaján)
- manga comic workshop at the Cultural Center of La Alberca
- Funky workshop at Zarandona Cultural Center
- Workshops of electric guitar, bass and literary creation in the Cultural Center of Espinardo
- Workshop of break dance and comic manga at the Cultural Center of Cabezo de Torres
- Workshop of volleyball and makeup, styling and characterization in the Culture Center of Corvera
New for May-June
Also in this new edition the activities reach the districts of Cabezo de Torres, Corvera, Santiago and Zaraiche and Beniaján, as well as staying in the cultural centers of Espinardo, La Alberca and Zarandona.
But not only "Networks for free time" gains new spaces but also new activities for young people.
To the already explained of music, sports, nature or cosmetic, the months of May and June have a more complete program destined to reach about 1,300 young people.
Among the novelties we can highlight the visit to the Astronomical Observatory of Murcia, and the realization of the "Workshop of Interpretation of the Sky" or the astronomical observations of "The Night of Jupiter".
Gastronomy courses (creative salads or summer recipes), wood carving, beads (for the production of leather necklaces and bracelets) or radio are also available to participants.
Finally, this edition includes a program of three routes guided by the municipality to know the origins of the city of Murcia.
Thus, young people between 12 and 30 years of age who may wish to visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria and its surroundings, will enter the legends of the capital or know the past and present of the same thanks to the explanation of various professionals.
Inclusive leisure
The Department of Education, through the Networks Program, continues betting on inclusive leisure and that is why there will be two championships, one inclusive and the other of inclusive table tennis, which will involve numerous associations from Murcia and Which are intended to promote responsible leisure and accessible for all.
Also on May 13 will take place the Skate and Scooter Championship which has a charitable character, because in order to participate young people have to contribute 1 kg of non-perishable food that will be collected by an NGO.
