The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, along with members of the Municipal Corporation attended this morning to the farewell Mass of the Virgen de la Fuensanta and his subsequent transfer to his Sanctuary Mount.
José Ballesta stressed that "this farewell of our Patron, which coincides with the 90th anniversary of his canonical coronation, has been one of the most crowded, as has happened in the various acts of the past festivals that have overwhelmed us and exceeded all our expectations ".
In this regard, the mayor stressed that Murcia is "a lively and dynamic city" and thanked the Murcia its participation in this pilgrimage and in the set of acts that have been carried out on the occasion of the anniversary of the coronation of the Virgin, Which took place on April 24, 1927.
